Sweden — a country that chose the controversial ‘herd immunity’ approach — after projecting Stockholm would reach 40% immunity by the end of May, is somehow only reporting 14% anti-body positivity. This is in stark contrast to Bergamo, which after enforcing strict lock-down measures, has managed to reach 57% anti-body positivity..
Naturally you’d just assume that increased exposure to the virus — rather than less exposure — would over time result in some kind of auto-immune response, but maybe that’s not actually the case with coronavirus..?
