Trump Calls For an $850 Billion Stimulus Plan



Sounds eerily similar to the $700 billion stimulus plan from the financial crisis of 2008.

Let’s just break things down:

$1 trillion in term loans, and $500 billion in repo’s was just announced last week

-6 months straight of government subsidized repo lending with a cumulative value of $9 trillion

-150 basis reduction to the federal funds rate

-reduction in the reserve requirement to 0%

$700 billion ‘quantitative easing program’ in the form of $500 billion in treasury purchases and $200 billion in mortgage backed securities purchases.

-Now the government is considering an $850 billion stimulus package
